Switching

No. Rankify reads the titles, descriptions, canonicals, and social values those plugins already stored, and uses them wherever you have not set your own. Nothing is imported and nothing is overwritten.Yoast, Rank Math, SEO Press, and legacy All in One SEO are all read. See switching to Rankify.
No. Both would output titles, descriptions, and social tags, search engines would see duplicates, and which one wins is unpredictable. Rankify warns you when it detects another active SEO plugin.
Nothing is lost. Rankify never writes to the other plugin’s data, so deactivating Rankify leaves it exactly as it was.
Not automatically, because a redirect is behavior rather than a value on a post. Export them as CSV from the old plugin before deactivating it, then import on Rankify > Redirects & Links.

Indexing and ranking

Search engines have to recrawl before anything changes, and rankings move over weeks. Configuration correctness is what you can verify immediately; ranking is not.The AI crawler log moves much faster, and is a useful early signal that your pages are being read.
It makes sure nothing technical is stopping you: correct titles, valid schema, a working sitemap, no accidental noindex, no broken URLs bleeding traffic. That is the floor, not the ceiling. What actually ranks is content people want. No plugin supplies that.
Google rewrites titles when it judges its own more useful for the query. Shorter, more accurate titles get rewritten less. No setting forces yours.
Yes. Rankify generates it, but nothing tells the search engines it exists. Submit https://example.com/sitemap.xml in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.

AI and answer engines

A plain-text index of your important pages with short summaries, written for language models rather than browsers. AI crawlers increasingly look for it, and it costs nothing to serve. On by default at /llms.txt.
Only if your objection is to training, and you accept the cost. Blocking also removes you from AI answers that cite sources, so you lose the citations along with the training. If you want to be selective, the per-crawler list lets you allow the ones that cite and block the ones that only train.
Crawler logs prove your pages are reachable. AI referral tracking, which is Pro, counts people arriving from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot, and that is the number that proves a citation.Crawlers reading but no referrals means readable but not quotable, which is a content structure problem.
A user agent is a string anyone can send. Without verification, anything that wants to look like GPTBot inflates your figures. Pro confirms each crawler by reverse DNS or the vendor’s published IP ranges, so the number means something.
No. Google does not take part. IndexNow reaches Bing, Yandex, and Seznam. Google’s own Indexing API only accepts job postings and live streams, so Rankify does not pretend otherwise.Bing still matters here beyond its search share, because its index feeds several AI assistants.

Features

Only if your theme does not already output them. Two trails and two BreadcrumbList blocks is worse than none. Off by default for this reason.
Noindex keeps the page working and asks search engines to ignore it. Disabling removes the URL entirely, so it returns a 404. Never disable something people have linked to without adding a redirect first.
Rules only run on requests that would otherwise return a 404, so a redirect can never hide a page that exists. That is deliberate, and it removes a whole category of accident.
Yes. Product post types and taxonomies appear on the Content Types tab like anything else, Product schema is available with Pro, and there is a %%wc_brand%% template variable.
Yes. Purge the cache after editing SEO fields, or cached pages keep serving the old tags. If you use Lightify, publishing a post purges it automatically.

Licensing

Pro is part of the DaftPlug membership. One license covers Rankify and every other DaftPlug Pro plugin, and plans differ only in how many sites you can activate on.
Nothing is deleted. Pro features stop applying and the free ones carry on, including your sitemap, schema, redirects, and llms.txt.
Automatic redirects on slug change, because renaming a published page and forgetting the redirect is the most common way a site loses traffic it had already earned.
