When an alert fires

Lightify grades your score into three bands, and an email is sent when the grade changes, not on every fluctuation. A site drifting from 92 to 91 sends nothing. A site dropping from 91 to 88 sends one email, because it crossed from good to average.
At least three visitor measurements are needed before any alert is considered. A quiet site, or one that has just installed Lightify, will not send alerts until it has collected enough real data.
Alerts go both ways. You are told when performance degrades, and told again when it recovers, which is what makes the feature useful after a change rather than only as a warning.

Why this is worth turning on

Performance decays quietly. Nobody notices the day a new plugin adds a render-blocking script, or the day a marketing tag starts loading a video player on every page. The score drops, and you find out weeks later. Because Lightify measures your actual visitors rather than running a synthetic test, the alert reflects something people genuinely experienced.
Send alerts somewhere a person will read them. A shared inbox nobody opens is the usual reason an alert about a real regression goes unnoticed for a month.
