Generatify > Settings > Agents This tab holds the three features that face your visitors rather than you.

AI page agent

toggle
default:"on"
A floating copilot for the people using your site. A visitor opens it, says what they want in plain language, and the agent works through your pages to do it.This is the one feature that is on by default, so check your front end before assuming it is not there.
select
default:"bottom-left"
bottom-left, bottom-right, top-left, or top-right. It defaults to the left so it does not collide with the helpdesk agent, which defaults to the right.
color
default:"#b034ef"
The button color. The icon color is derived automatically for contrast, so you only choose one value.
If you run a chat widget, a cookie banner, or a back-to-top button, check all four corners on a phone before deciding this is fine where it is.

AI helpdesk agent

toggle
default:"off"
A support widget with three tabs: a home tab you write, a message tab that either emails you or chats, and a help tab listing your articles.

Appearance

select
default:"bottom-right"
Keep this on the opposite side from the page agent if both are enabled.
color
default:"#000000"
Match your site’s main color.
image
A large background image across the top of the widget.
image
Represents your site inside the widget. Your logo or favicon is the right choice.

Home tab

string
default:"Hi, there"
The greeting at the top of the home tab.
string
default:"Our support is here to help."
A line under the title. Use it to set expectations about response times.
string
default:"Send us a message"
The label on the button that opens the message tab.
Pro. Up to three suggestions shown on the home tab, each with a title, description, and URL. Point them at the three things people actually ask about, which your contact form inbox will tell you.

Message tab

select
default:"contact"
Conversation mode needs Pro and a connected provider. On a free install, use contact mode.
email
Where contact form submissions are sent. Defaults to your WordPress admin email.
multi-select
Pro. The agent already knows the titles and links of every public page on your site. This setting adds up to three pages whose full content it can read.Spend those three slots carefully: shipping and returns, pricing, and a getting-started page will answer more questions than three deep feature pages.
textarea
Pro. Guidance for the agent about what language to speak, what tone to use, and what rules to follow.Be specific about what it should refuse. “If you do not know, say so and offer the contact form” prevents more bad answers than any amount of instruction about tone.

Help tab

repeater
A list of articles shown in the Help section, each with a title, description, and URL. These are links to your own pages, not content stored in the plugin.
Fill in help articles even if you use conversation mode. Some visitors would rather read the page than ask a question, and a visible list of topics also tells people what the agent knows about.

Browser AI tools

toggle
default:"off"
Registers tools on your front end that AI agents built into the browser can call: content search, reading a post, listing categories, and, with WooCommerce, product search and adding to the cart.Everything is read-only except adding to the cart. Requires a browser that supports WebMCP and is ignored everywhere else.

Browser AI tools in detail

The exact tools exposed, the limits enforced, and what to consider before enabling this on a store.

Running both agents at once

They do different jobs and can coexist, but two floating buttons on a phone is a lot. If you only want one, choose the helpdesk agent for a content or service site, and the page agent for a store or an app-like site where people are trying to accomplish something rather than learn something.
